Dear youngsters, parents, grandparents, teachers & significant others. You are invited to take part in a special FREE event for children up to 12 years of age to be held at the QVMAG Inveresk “Festival Hub” Room. This special event commences at 12.45 pm on Saturday October 10, 2026.
Send your poems now (children under 12) β we will display them β or join the nanas for entertainment and guidance writing and/or reciting a poem on the day! There will be prizes and gifts on offer!
The Tasmanian Poetry Festival is happening from Friday Oct 9-Sunday Oct 11 at various venues across Launceston. The “festival proper” which runs all day Saturday and Sunday will be held at QVMag , Inveresk precinct, Launceston.
